Scholarship awarding to 120 needy students – Phase II

February 26 and 27, in Hue city, Home Credit (a financial trademark of PPF Vietnam) cooperated to Tuoi Tre newspaper and Thua Thien Hue province Students’ Union to organize the awarding ceremony – phase II for the scholarship “My classmates – the ones overcoming difficulties in life” for 120 winning students from 33 provinces and 13 authors of introduction articles.

February 26 and 27, in Hue city, Home Credit (a financial trademark of PPF Vietnam) cooperated to Tuoi Tre newspaper and Thua Thien Hue province Students’ Union to organize the awarding ceremony – phase II for the scholarship “My classmates – the ones overcoming difficulties in life” for 120 winning students from 33 provinces and 13 authors of introduction articles.

Hundreds of audiences at Hue Culture House witnessed examples of good students and had the chance to listen to stories about their hardship and endeavor in life. Vong Quang Ky, a student with visual impairment from Dong Nai province shared his deep thanks to the elderly mother who has been his eyes for the past 16 years by singing a sentimental song about mother’s love for her children.

The scholarship has been through 2 phases with 240 students receiving the prize. Awarding program was organized with a combination of ceremony and sight-seeing tour for students. Having the opportunity to enjoy memorable day with their peers, students can set aside their worry and enjoy happy moment which has been a luxury to them for so long a time.

Mr Ajay Bandhu, CEO of PPF Vietnam shared: “ each student is a shining example. In spite of having difficult lives, they know how to surmount obstacles. I hope that the support from Home Credit makes them understand that they are not alone, but always supported by many people who admire them, love them and wish them continuing will and success”.
